The Brutal Dictatorship of US Foreign Policy, NATO and the Petrodollar Recycling Scheme Still Not Seen

This was the gospel reading for church today that brought into sharp focus the system value disorder still not seen and unspeakable as it pertained to regime change of “brutal dictators” from Iraq to Libya to Syria and now Venezuala. What stood out for me was the saying, “Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own?”

At once, I recognized that a beam is part of the foundation of a house and a splinter is a product that is produced when work is done on the beam such as cutting with a saw and shaving the edges so that the parts of different beams fit snuggly with each other.

What if, the social destabilization and humanitarian crises (the splinters) we are seeing in socialist countries that are rich in oil and other resources and who had uncoupled from the US dollar, are the result of the brutal dictatorship of US foreign policy, NATO and the US Petrodollar Recycling Scheme (the beam)? Unless and until this US “brutal dictatorship” beam is removed from their eyes, they would be blinded from seeing the social destabilization and humanitarian crises splinters of their own making, which serve to create designated enemies for their continued “brutal dictatorship” projects.

Three recent article come readily to mind which I have reproduced below along with other links for further study.

Manufactured Consent, Credibility and Confidence in A Fake New World (Dis)order and what this means for Reparative Justice

The world (dis)order we have inherited today is not natural and has been manufactured by a misguided privileged ruling class of rich white propertied men. What I have come to realise as of late is that the Rule of Law that we in the West are indoctrinated to respect and uphold is basically a disguised Rule… Read More

The way forward – A life-coherent democratized economy

THE BANKS AND THE CANCER STAGE OF CAPITALISM: FROM CAUSE TO CURE | Prof John McMurtry (1997)

(Abstract)

There is a hidden war of value codes in the world today. On the one hand, there is the life code of value: Life → Means of Life → More Life (L → M of L→ L1). On the other hand, there is the money code of value: in its classical form, Money → Commodity → More Money ($ C → $1). In its carcinogenic form, this sequence becomes: Money → More Money → More Money ($ → $1 $2  $n). The latter money sequence of value is decoupled from any commitment to life function and is driven by the lending and investment cycles of banks. This paper demonstrates the carcinogenic properties of this sequence at the social level of life-organization.

The second part of the paper proposes a remedy. The first step consists in making the government-conferred privileges of banks – creating money by credit and lending others’ money stocks at compound interest – accountable to society’s life requirements. The second step consists in returning central banks to their constitutional mandate of lending to governments rather than alienating this function to private banks. The article concludes by arguing that the great obstacle to Canada’s and other countries’ economic well-being is the abdication by governments of their sovereign powers over society’s money supply, and the long cultivation of public ignorance on this ultimate issue of public policy and value decision.

“The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society” – President John F Kennedy 1961

The secretive jurisdictions of international financial centers which claim to be essential for capital growth and development, like state communism, is going to be the downfall of corporate crony capitalism, as both support conformity and rigidity of ideas in a top-down hierarchical pattern as “efficiently” as possible. This is done without challenge from outside; hence the stifling of genuine innovation and genuine resilience and ability to adapt to new knowledge of our destructive potentials in all of life’s spheres of influence and concerns, hence producing the persistent lack of truth and reconciliation and healing of all of the maladies of humanity and the planet. If this is not a form of globalised supranational “communism” now on steroids, where there is pervasive reverse projection, where the meanings of our labels have been tranmorgrified and no longer mean what they are supposed to mean any more, then I don’t know what is!

For example, do we really still have a “free market” and “democracy” anymore? Aren’t these ideals now usurped by the diktats of the financial-military-corporate media-digital collusive complex which now reign supreme where we have concentration of wealth and power at the top? When The Establishment preaches freedom of choice, freedom of mobility and freedom of privacy, are they talking about freedom for entitlement of theirs at the top, while relegating those of us at the bottom to a form of mental, social and debt slavery? Where is the genuine democracy and freedom in that? Should we not have by now an intelligent system that matches unused life resources to unmet life needs by the supply and demand principles of the free market? What about the genuine ability of the electorate to chose a leader of their choice without the rules of engagement being gerrimandered to maintain the power structure in the first place? Where is the economic and political justice in all of this? Again I stand by my claim that the only difference between state communism and corporate croney capitalism is not one of kind, but one of degree and scale, and the reverse projections that the latter creates to block out the obvious consequences of our life destructive and human indignifying machinations.

SUBVERSION FROM WITHIN: How the Freeloaders Gerrymandered Their Way to the Top

So the freeloaders have captured 1) the modes of production, distribution and communications (universal human life necessities, be they concrete or conceptual), and have gerrymandered 2) the rules of conduct and engagement “enshrined” in all of our narratives (scriptures, treaties and constitutions), and have also gerrymandered 3) the rules of credit creation and guidance (banking and financing).  In order to maintain their monopolistic, hegemonic, domination system at little cost to them, and at great (imposed reversed) altrusitic cost to the majority of people and life forms on the planet, they have gerrymandered the 4) cognitive, affective, behavioural and social mindscapes of the masses, hence the irrational apathy-tolerance-acquiescence to the blatant and rampant escalating poverty, wealth inequality and corruption we see in our local, regional and international arenas.

By “coercing us” with our “tacit consent” to buy into their overpriced but fake snake-oil narratives of the justified survival of the fittest self-maximizing predatory competitors, the ruling elite class has sabotaged our cooperative individual human nature and stunted our collective other-serving, group-optimizing, altruistic and prosocial nature. They have in effect committed the ultimate “crime against humanity” by undermining our individual and collective human capital and capacity development and our intrinsic freedoms for individuation, self-actualization and self-determination of those capacities at the individual and collective levels. It is not surprising anymore that they veil their “dehumanizing and destabilising interventions” in wars for coveted resources and territories, regime change, invasions and occupation as “humanitarian interventions” and they use “human shields and props” as cannon fodder to further their nefarious agendas.

This ‘subversion from within’ by the elite ruling class free-riders explain the anomalous behaviour we have seen at the highest levels of government and diplomacy around the world today, and allows us to make sense of all the nonsense we see at play as they speak. This issue of veto power at our most austere UN body of diplomacy is very much part of the ‘subversion from within’ by the elite ruling class, who also control the diktats of other supranational collective entitites such as the IMF, World Bank and WTO, and central banks of the world through their BIS.

The Paradoxes within Capitalist Democracy Spelled Out by the Zen Economist Rob Urie | www.counterpunch.org

“A social taxonomy that supports the division of political power from economic power is necessary to pose capitalism and democracy as compatible. In the liberal frame, a government that determines when you wake and go to sleep, how you dress, which speech is acceptable, and which isn’t and what you will spend the overwhelming preponderance of your time and life’s energy doing, is totalitarian. In this same liberal frame, if your employer determines these, compliance is freely chosen. The social violence of ‘property’ is the initial condition from which this free choice proceeds.”

“The term ‘Democratic Socialism’ proceeds from a dubious distinction between political and economic democracy. The myth it appeals to is that American democracy reflects the popular will in ways that more straightforwardly hierarchical political systems don’t. The paradox of capitalist democracy has always been the assertion of flat (equal) political representation in the presence of hierarchical economic distribution. Being white, propertied and male were the initial conditions for American suffrage. As late as 2016, functional suffrage was a proxy for economic class. Real democracy begins with economic democracy.”
