Thank you for posting this. The findings are right on the mark. I hope if they continue with the council that they will consider inviting business owners from the beach vending sector as well. Vending on the beaches was taken over by the tourism authority, but the end result has created an unfair playing field for the many business’s that lease or own property. These business’s have costs of business such as water, toilets, rent/mortgage to pay versus those buisness’s that squat on the beach or those individuals who have been issued vendor licenses to work at the established businesses. They do not have to pay rent/mortgage and to add insult to injury their guests use the established business’s water and toilets.
